We also have professional editors on hand who provide excellent proofreading, copy editing, and rewriting services. If your writing is essentially polished and all you require is a thorough read-through of your work for minor error checks in spelling, punctuation, grammar, capitalization, etc., then our proofreading service is for you, and the lowest rates will apply. Should you need more hands-on editing, and your writing calls for a more thorough polish in grammar, style, consistency, word usage, phrasing, etc., in addition to proofreading, or if you need whole sentences and passages reworked
within any number of given texts, then our copy editing or comprehensive editing service should be considered. If, on the other hand, your work must undergo moderate to extensive rewriting, or your overall thoughts need reworking in order to be properly conveyed, then our seasoned editors can be hired to rewrite your book. They will transform your writing and thoughts into polished, highly readable material. Whichever service you choose, be assured that your work will be transformed into a publishable product you should be extremely pleased with.
Proofreading
Proofreading involves correcting typographical errors, misspellings, numbering mistakes, subject-verb disagreements, incorrect word usage (e.g., stationary for stationery), and punctuation errors. It also addresses formatting concerns.
Copy Editing
Copy editing includes all proofreading tasks, as well as the following: correcting all faulty grammar, spelling, and punctuation; ensuring consistency in spelling and style; changing passive voice to active voice; eliminating wordiness and clichés; smoothing transitions and rearranging sentences to improve flow; and tracking the continuity of plot, setting, and character traits, and addressing any inconsistencies in those elements. Copy editing addresses the mechanics of writing.
Comprehensive Editing
Comprehensive editing includes manuscript proofreading, copy editing, and critique services. It also includes rearranging sentences or sections to improve flow, identifying gaps in the story, suggesting insertions as necessary, deleting extraneous content, and restructuring text to ensure consistency and readability. It involves analysis of concept, intended audience, content, organization, design, and style. Comprehensive editing addresses the theory of writing.
Rewriting
If your work must undergo moderate to extensive rewriting, or your overall thoughts need reworking in order to be properly conveyed, then this is the service for you. We will transform your writing and thoughts into polished, highly readable material. One of our editors will create a new manuscript or parts of a manuscript on the basis of content and research supplied by the author. This does not include research or writing original material unless specified by the author.

With regard to audiobook covers, if we created a cover you intend to retrofit for an audiobook, the first rate applies. If you want an audiobook cover created from scratch the second rate applies.

Note: magazine ads range from quarter-page to full-page, while website ads range from widths as small as 150 pixels wide up to 600-pixel-wide skyscrapers. Rates for bookmarks and business cards are priced in single-sided and double-sided options. The rates for brochures and book event signs/posters will vary based on the sizes and complexities of their respective designs.

Simple books are mainly text driven, such as novels, while medium books would include bulleted and numbered lists, and a small number of images. Complex books would add callouts, be image heavy, and may include nonstandard paragraph formatting. The addition of other complexities would cause your book to top out at most complex.
Unlike many major eBook formatting companies, we never run your file through a meatgrinder, which results in wonky formatting and ugly reflow of the text.
We format eBooks by hand using HTML and CSS in order to closely match the print version of your book.
All eBooks are validated for compliance with major retailers, such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, and Apple.
